The U.S. Agency for International
Development (USAID) works with non-governmental partners in the
implementation of programs but has done so with little internal
coordination leading to duplicative meetings and information
exchanges. The Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives
(CFBCI) has launched an online tool that allows offices within the
Agency to track meetings with Non-government Organizations (NGOs).
The voluntary survey will enable USAID staff to have more reliable
information for these entities and their work. Respondents are
individuals that have previously indicated interest in the Agency's
work.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
