file detailed schedules of assets, liabilities, and capital
accounts in the form of a condition report and summary statement;
detailed schedule of operating income and expense, sources and
disposition of income, and changes in equity capital are reported.
Data are used for supervisory and monetary policy
purposes.

The proposed revisions are in
response to the FDIC's June 2010 final rule modifying the basis
upon which a participating institution's assessment is calculated
for Transaction Account Guarantee program-related accounts. Data
reported for Schedule RC-O, Memo items 4.a and 4.b would be
reported based on an average daily balance instead of a quarter-end
balance.
