This information collection is required for compliance with the final rule that codifies special flight rules and airspace and flight restrictions for certain operations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Flight plans will be submitted to the FAA through the established process. They will be used by the FAA and other government agencies to identify aircraft, pilots, and their intentions, thereby enhancing ground security measures in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
