This collection
is to be discontinued by FAA. The collection requirements and
burden hours are already reflected in OMB Control Number 2120-0026,
"Domestic and International Flight Plans." Prior to discontinuance,
FAA will issue a Federal Register notice clarifying this
inadvertent duplication of burden hours.

This information collection is
required for compliance with the final rule that codifies special
flight rules and airspace and flight restrictions for certain
operations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Flight plans
will be submitted to the FAA through the established process. They
will be used by the FAA and other government agencies to identify
aircraft, pilots, and their intentions, thereby enhancing ground
security measures in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
