Adding a space for the employer to provide a fax number will assist the State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) in communicating with the employer, since the SWA often needs to fax referral information to the employer.

Additionally, because the SWAs have only seven days to respond to the employer from the date the job order is filed, adding a space for the employer to provide the date that the employer filled out ETA-790 will assist the SWAs in tracking these deadlines.
