BACKGROUND INFORMATION
In the event one handler does not handle 35% or more of the crop:
984.35(a)(1) Two handler members from District 1; and
984.35(a)(2) Two handler members from District 2.
In the event one handler handles 35% or more of the crop:
984.35(b)(3) Two handler members to represent handlers that do not handle 35% or more of the crop.
Districts:
District 1: Consists of the counties in the State that lie north of a line drawn on the southern boundaries of San Mateo, Alameda, San Joaquin, Calaveras and Alpine counties.
District 2: Consists of all other counties in the State south of the boundary line set forth in the definition of District 1.
According
to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, an agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of
information unless it displays a valid OMB control number. The valid
OMB control number for this information collection is 0581-0178. The
time required to complete this information collection is estimated
to average 5 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing
instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and
maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the
collection of information. The
