A survey of STC participants is
necessary to evaluate NSFs investment in centers. These centers
are multi-institutional partnerships of scientists and educators
and are funded at a level of up to four million dollars a year for
up to ten years. The data and analyses will be used to help
evaluate the STC program as a whole and to provide members of an
expert peer review panel with information about the programs role
in the talent development and on the career paths taken by
students.
