Attachment A: Email invitation to take the SEMS Pilot survey


The following will appear in the email solicitation for participation in the survey:


Please Take the Secure Enterprise Messaging System (SEMS) Pilot Participant Survey

You have been selected to take the SEMS pilot participant satisfaction survey. Until the SEMS pilot the IRS could not use email to communicate with taxpayers and practitioners. Your opinions about the SEMS pilot experience are important to us. We are looking for your feedback on your use of secure messaging during the pilot and your level of satisfaction with the SEMS pilot process.  Please take a moment to complete the attached evaluation. The evaluation should take less than 5 minutes to complete. 

Survey instructions:

You must have Adobe Reader installed on your PC to participate SEMS pilot participant satisfaction survey Adobe Reader is free software you can download from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

  1. Open the attached evaluation.

  2. Fill out each question by entering an "x" in the box next to your selected response.

  3. Once you have completed the survey, just click the send button. Adobe Reader should automatically generate an email with your completed survey back to the SEMS Survey team.

If Adobe Reader does not produce your survey response email for you, save and attach your completed event evaluation to an email addressed to SEMS_Pilot_Survey@irs.gov.
