FSIS is notified by owners, brokers,
or agents when FSIS inspected and passed product is exported and
returned to this country. FSIS uses this information to decide
whether the product needs to be re-inspected.
There is a change in burden
hours from 8,333 hours to 2,500 hours because FSIS, in response to
comments received, changed its estimate of the number of times an
exporter would use the form annually, from 100 times to 10 times,
thereby reducing the total burden hours. Also,in response to
comments the time on the form was changed from 10 minutes to 30
minutes.
