FCC Rules require submission of a
declaration of compliance for radio frequency devices imported into
the customs territory of the United States. Information is used to
regulate devices that can cause interference to authorized radio
services. Such regulation helps prevent interference and may lead
to enforcement action.

The Commission is reporting an
increased adjustment in the number of responses for this submission
to the OMB. Specifically, the Commission is reporting a 70,000
increase in the number of responses and a +1,330 hour increase
adjustment in the total annual burden hours. The reason for the
change in burden is to correct inaccuracies in the burden
calculations the last time this IC was submitted for OMB approval
and an increased number of responses. There is no program change as
indicated above. The Commission removed one IC List item which
ROCIS shows as a program change.
