The Department
of State is given an abbreviated 16 month approval. During this
time, the Department of State will continue to develop SEVIS II,
which will allow this collection to be submitted electronically.
When this collection is resubmitted to OMB, all technical issues
that have resulted in inaccurate data reporting should be
corrected.
