In accordance
with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for 3
years. Upon resubmission, it is suggested the agency continue to
reassess burden hour estimates based on feedback from respondents.
In addition, it is suggested that, as provided in its revised
supporting statement, NRC provide a thorough explanation of overall
burden estimation as well as specific changes since the last
approval.

10 CFR Part 55, Operators Licenses,
of the NRCs regulations, specifies information and data to be
provided by applicants and facility licenses so that the NRC may
make determinations concerning the licensing and requalification of
operators for nuclear reactors, as necessary to promote public
health and safety. The reporting and recordkeeping requirements
contained in 10 CFR Part 55 are mandatory for the licensees and
applicants affected.
