The burden has decreased by 18 hours. The decrease in burden is an adjustment due to a one (1) revised estimate. Specifically, the following estimate was modified: (1) Under § 210.27, FRA decreased its estimate of the number of new locomotive certification requests (from 40 requests to four (4) requests). This change in estimate decreased the burden by 18 hours (from 20 hours to two (2) hours). The current OMB inventory shows a burden total of 2,785 hours, while the present submission exhibits a total burden of 2,767 hours. Hence, there is a decrease of 18 hours. There is a slight decrease of $6 in cost to respondents for badges/tags (from $30 to $24 plates). Essentially, then there is no cost to respondents for this collection of information.
