A one time increase in burden is anticipated, to implement OMB's published Revisions to the Standards for the Classifications of Federal Data on Race and Ethnicity . By July 1, 2010, Department of Education programs are required to collect and report race/ethnicity data differently. The 20 hour increase allows States to develop and implement this requirement effectively.
