States performance and other information related to the reporting
requirements of the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act, and 2)
to be in compliance with the OMB and Departmental requirement on
race/ethnicity reporting.

A one time increase in burden
is anticipated, to implement OMB's published Revisions to the
Standards for the Classifications of Federal Data on Race and
Ethnicity . By July 1, 2010, Department of Education programs are
required to collect and report race/ethnicity data differently. The
20 hour increase allows States to develop and implement this
requirement effectively.
