National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (0920-0237)
A. Justification
Circumstances Making the Collection of Information Necessary.
This is a request for a non-substantive change to the approval of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) (OMB No. 0920-0237, exp. December 31, 2011), conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Burden for these projects has already been approved; thus, no change to the burden is requested.
The sole change is to provide final copies of the Supporting Statement A and Questionnaires and MEC Data Collection Forms.
This is to satisfy term of clearance 3: “So that we do not delay the start of field training for this cycle, NCHS will submit a non-substantive change package to document the minor adjustments made to the protocol and instruments since the original package was submitted.”
