An application is required for the award of FY 2008 grants under the Migrant Education Program (MEP) Consortium Incentive Grant program. The program provides competitive grants to State Educational Agencies that participate in high-quality consortium arrangements with another State or appropriate entity that will improve the delivery of services to migratory children whose education is interrupted. The program is authorized by section 1308(d) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended.
