Justification for Change (1010-0006)
As of October 14, 2008, the final rule for 30 CFR 256 became effective (73 FR 52917, September 12, 2008). The rule collection (1010-0174, exp. September 30, 2011) consists of burden hours relating to 30 CFR 256 (45 total hours). The MMS is, therefore, consolidating the burden hours into OMB Control Number 1010-0006 (exp May 31, 2010). After OMB approves the consolidation, MMS will discontinue 1010-0174.
