This package contains an
increased burden hour estimate from that reflected in the current
Office of Management and Budget inventory. The increased burden
estimate is due to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
funding (ARRA) of 2009 received by the DOE. With the ARRA funding,
DOEs annual budget tripled from $5 billion to $15 billion. As a
result, the burdens also tripled as there will be a dramatic
increase in awards.
