DFARS Part 216 and the clauses at
252.216-7001, and 252.216-7003 require contractors to submit
information to the contracting officers which is used in adjusting
established contract prices.
The decrease in the amount of
hours can be attributed to the decrease in the number of
fixed-price economic price adjustment contracts for metal products
reported while the increase in cost is caused by the increase in
the estimated cost per hour. We adjusted our estimated burdens to
reflect the average annual awards for the period 2004 through
2007.
