You have been selected from veterans in five states to participate in the Veterans’ Employment Outcomes Survey in January 2009. This 15-minute survey, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), will ask about services you received in 2006 or 2007 to help in your employment search. DOL provides grants to states that fund these services, and they want to be sure that veterans find the services helpful and receive the support they need.

This telephone survey will be conducted by Chamberlain Research Consultants under contract to DOL. Your participation is voluntary, and your responses will be entirely anonymous. The report to DOL will contain only aggregated data, such as averages or totals, and will not identify individuals who participate in the survey.

We hope that you will choose to participate in the survey if you are called. The survey specialist who calls will be happy to answer any questions.
