Note 6: According to the common crop policy basic provisions, if the producer is given due process but not prior to the
crop termination date, he/she has until the next crop termination date to pay the debt. The 60 record would be submitted
with the reinsurance year and crop year of the debt but with the termination date of the next reinsurance year and crop
year.
For example, a producer has a policy for a crop with a 5/31/06 termination date for reinsurance year and crop
year 2006. He is not given due process before 5/31/06 so he cannot be placed on the ITS for this termination
date. He does not pay prior to 5/31/07 so the RO can report him to ITS for reinsurance year and crop year 2006
with a 5/31/07 debt delinquency date.
