Summary of changes to the Basic Demographic: Formerly, CPS asked for the Line number of the parent of a household member. ENTER LINE NUMBER OF PARENT OF [fill NAME] -- ASK IF NECESSARY (0) NO ONE LISTED ABOVE Now it asks for the line number of the Mother and the Father of the household member. In addition, it asks if the parent is biological, step or adopted.
