The New England Transportation Institute is carrying out a program mandated in SAFETEA-LU, Section 5513 F, to increase understanding of rural transportation conditions and issues. Towards this end, the Institute is proposing to undertake two surveys of rural transportation users; the first concerns rural issue definition and refinement, the second concerns rural safety and community health. This is a new clearance request.
