this is not a presssing problem. the reason for the accidents is not that they dont know how to be safe. the reason is that these are low paid workers and the execs get away with unsafe practices being insisted upon. how about enforcement here. how about inspections of these sites? how about putting some of the execs in jail instead of letting them retire with $400 million in retirement benefits. it is time to make sure execs institute safe practices. they are getting enough of the labor pie to make sure that that is part of their job. right now this administration lets them get away literally with murder. taking surveys will do nothing.

in addition, many of these pallets are not even made in the u.s. anymore but come from china.  it is indeed a very small u.s. industry.
