The Child Care and Development Fund
(CCDF) report requests annual tribal aggregate information on
services provided through the CCDF, which is required by the CCDF
Final Rule (45 CFR parts 98 and 99). Tribal Lead Agencies (TLAs)
are required to submit annual aggregate data appropriate to tribal
programs on children and families receiving CCDF-funded child care
services. The CCDF statute and regulations also require TLAs to
submit a supplemental narrative as part of the ACF-700
report.
To ensure that Tribal data
reporting fully complies with federally mandated reporting
requirements, the CCDF Tribal Annual Report is being revised to
include one new data element, i.e., Item 8 - Payment Type. This
element is required by Federal regulations at 45 CFR 98.71(c)(4).
In addition, the revised report includes situations during which
the reason for receiving subsidized care is related to a federally
declared emergency, i.e., Item 4 - Reasons for Care.
