The Department of Justice requires
that state and local law enforcement agencies participating in the
Equitable Sharing Program submit an Annual Certification Report and
Equitable Sharing Agreement. Information received from these
reports is used to monitor compliance with the requirements of the
Program, assist the Office of the Inspector General in conduction
audits of the participating agencies, and to identify the uses to
which Sharing funds are applied.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
