Pub.L. 107 - 171 9006 Name of Law: The Farm Security and Rural
Investment Act of 2002
The total number of respondents
increased from 469 to 1,507. Due to the increase in the number of
total responses under both Guaranteed Loans and Grants from 7,390
to 16,846, the total burden hours have increased from 31,406 to
77,412. The increase is due to additional funding and public
interest in the program along with the Presidents Energy
Initiative that is driving the national interest.
