The information collection is a series
of NATF Forms used by researchers to request a search for and
copies of archival records relating to genealogical research. NARA
uses the forms to conduct the search, inform respondents of the
results, and to bill respondents for the copies made.
Some orders have decreased in
number over the last few years as some records have become
available as digital images or text files through outside
institutions.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
