CHANGES TO INFORMATION COLLECTION 3048-0024

EXPORT-IMPORT BANK OF THE U.S.

COMMISSIONED BROKER APPLICATION FORM, EIB 92-79

• The name of the form has been changed from Broker Registration Form to Commissioned Broker Application Form.

• Much of the wording has been changed to provide more clarity and due diligence.

Page 1:

• On page 1, before “1. A registration fee of $35.00 is required”, we inserted a heading, APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS”

• Item 1: The registration fee of $35.00 is no longer a requirement.

• Item 2 of the old form becomes item 1 of the new form, reworded.

• Item 3 of the old form becomes item 2 of the new form.

• Item 3 of the new form is new, requiring evidence of liability insurance coverage.

• Item 4 is not changed, except for the wording

• Item 5 of the new form is new, but we added the burden for it when the form was submitted for approval in April of 2007 – we increased the burden from ½ hour to 2 hours. Somehow the wrong version was submitted.

• The heading, CERTIFICATIONS AND NOTICES, was added

• The certifications and notices have been enhanced for better clarity

Page 3:

• The heading is changed from INSURANCE BROKERS STANDARDS OF SERVICE to EX-IM BANK INSURANCE BROKERS STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND SERVICE.

• Items 1 through 7 are reworded.

• Item 8 of the new form is new.

• Items 8 and 9 of the old form become item 9 of the new form, reworded.

• Items 10 through 15 are new.
