Certification for Proprietary Schools (Under Chapters 30, 31, 32,
and 35, Title 38, U.S.C.; Chapters 1606 and 1607, Title 10, U.S.C.;
Sections 901 or 903 of Public Law 96-342, Na
Extension without change of a currently approved collection
Title 38 section 3683 prohibits VA and
SAA (State approving agency) employees from owning any interest in
a proprietary profit school. These VA or SAA employees cannot
receive specified types of income from private profit schools. 38
CFR 21.4202 prohibits any veteran or eligible person from being an
official in a proprietary school and signing VA certifications.
This form is used by proprietary schools to certify that they do
not have any of these conflicts.
