Abstract: This regulation sets forth the policies and procedures for making grants under Section 525 of the Housing Act of 1949 to provide funds to eligible applicants to conduct programs of technical and supervisory assistance for low-income residents to obtain housing.

Short Statement: The number of respondents has decreased due to the reduced program level. The annual allocation for the program is $1 million; therefore, we can only fund approximately 10 grants. As a result, only a small number of organizations apply due to the extreme competition for program funds.
