12 CFR 32.7(b) requires national banks
to provide the OCC with certain information in connection with an
application to receive approval from its supervisory office before
using the exceptions to the lending limit for 1-4 family
residential real estate loans and loans to small businesses for
national banks. The OCC needs this information to evaluate whether
a bank is eligible to use the new exceptions.
The burden decrease is due to
the decrease in the number of regulated institutions and the number
of filings received.
