The FCC has developed a new FCC Form
422-1B to facilitate the Commission's goal to implement electronic
filing of the form and to accommodate any changes to the form in
the future. International broadcasters will file the FCC Form
422-1B in lieu of the "Appication for Renewal of an International
or Experimental Broadcast Station License," (FCC Form 311). The
form is completed by applicants requesting a renewal of an
international broadcast station license. The information is used by
the Commission to assign frequencies for use by international
broadcast stations, to grant authority to operate such stations,
and to determine if interference or adverese propagation conditions
exist that may impact the operation of such stations.
