JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE

On June 23, 2005, USCIS re-branded the Form G-884, and submitted a request to OMB to re-instate the form. OMB subsequently approved the re-instatement, and provided an expiration date of August 31, 2008. Upon reviewing this form, USCIS realized that it omitted a request for the alien registration number (A-Number) that was required on the previous versions of the form. Accordingly, the attached version of the Form G-884 includes a request for the A-number.
