In accordance
with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for three
years. However, EPA shall continue to inform OMB of each Data Needs
Decision made under the pilot program and any necessary or
subsequent change to the information collection burde. In addition,
if the agency requests further extension of this approval, the
agency should provide an update on the statu of all chmeicals
included in the pilot.

This information collection involves a
voluntary program intended to obtain data on health effects,
exposure, risk, and other information needed to evaluate the safety
of chemicals to which children have a high likelihood of exposure,
and thereby enable the public understand the potential health risks
to children associated with exposure to such chemicals.
