The SSA-8508 BK is used by SSA to
collect information that provides an assessment of the
effectiveness of the SSI program. The collection solicits
information which depicts the condition of the program's operating
efficiency and quality of its underlying policy. The information
may detect any administrative and/or recipient deficiencies that
may cause incorrect payments to SSI beneficiaries. The form is also
used to establish a Federal dollar accuracy rate, which is one of
SSA's service delivery goals. The respondents are SSI
recipients.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
