This request is for continuation of
ATSDR's National Exposure Registry which begain in 1989. The NER is
an effort to provide basic information concerning the impact of
toxic substances on the health of the general population by
analyzing, over time, any changes in the health status of those
individuals documented to have had likely exposure to selected
toxic substances from the environment. There are currently four
sub-registries in the NER.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
benefit, or mandatory);

(vi) Need to display currently valid OMB control
number;
