Building on the success of USAID's
Small Business Resource Database (SBRD) this new collection is
proposed as a revision to the SBRD which shall allow registration
of U.S. Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). The goal is to place
the data resulting from voluntary registration of these academic
institutions on the desktops of USAID decision-makers worldwide,
thus increasing the potential for grant activities to these
institutions. The conduit for dissemination of these data within
the Agency is the Extranet platform created for and currently
utilized by the SBRD.
