Financial Reporting for Public Utilities Including RTOs)
Under RM04-12-000 Final Rule, FERC is
amending its financial reporting requirements for the quarterly and
annual financial reporting forms for public utilities and licensees
including independent system operators and regional transmission
organizations (RTOs). The new accounts and changes to FERC's
quarterly and annual financial forms will add visibility and
uniformity to the accounting and financial reporting for the cost
of utility assets, and the expenses the utility incurs in providing
services, along with revenues collected from RTO members. The
