This collection
is approved for three years. The agency should notify OMB at least
two weeks in advance of implementing a new collection under this
generic clearance. The notification should entail a summary of
survey objectives, burden estimates, and final or near final survey
instruments (scripts, questions, comment cards, ect.) If OMB does
not specifically disapprove the collection within ten working days,
then the agency may presume approval and conduct the survey.

The EIA-882T is used to conduct/pilot
surveys (face-to-face interviews, telephone interviews, mail
questionnaires, electronic questionnaires), focus groups and
cognitive inter- views. Data are used to modify questionnaires to
improve the quality of the data. Samples of potential respondents
to pro- posed surveys are selected to participate.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that

1320.8(b)(3).
