On September 9, 2004, the Commission
adopted a Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rule
Making. In the Matter of Children's Television Obligations or
Digital Television Broadcasters, FCC 04-221, MM Docket No. 00-167.
47 CFR Section 73.673 was revised to remove the identification
requirement that occurred at the beginning of programs. The
identification requirement in 47 CFR Section 73.671 was revised to
apply the requirement that stations privide on-screen
identification of their core children's programming to both
commercial and non- commercial broadcasters, and to require that,
in order for the...
