The Mexican fruit fly regulations are
being amended to remove a provision that allows regulated articles
to be moved interstate from a regulated area without a certificate
or limited permit if they are moved into States other than
commercial cirtus-producing States. Also, APHIS is amending the
regs to remove references to quarantined States and to refer to
regulated areas as quarantined areas. APHIS will clarify that an
entity requiring services of an inspector in responsible for costs
of services outside or normal business hours.
