This ICR is not
approved. The proposed rule includes 3 options for collecting TEQ
data on dioxin, each with somewhat different information collection
requirements. EPA should select the option that best satisfies the
requirements in 5 CFR 1320.9 that any information collected from
the public have practical utility and that it reduce to the extent
practicable and appropriate the burden on persons who shall provide
information to or for the agency. The ICR for the final rule should
justify the selected option in terms of these requirements.
