As part of efforts taken by Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention to learn more about the
epidemiology and clinical dynamics of infection with Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) coronavirus, Respiratory and Enteric
Viruses Branch (REVS) would like to collect information in the
event of a re-emergence of SARS. Protocols have been developed for
the study of SARS transmission, dynamics of infection and SARS
infection during pregnancy. Expedited clearance is necessary so
that data may be collected immediately in the event of SARS
re-emergence.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
