The Preliminary Assessment Information
Rule requires chemical manufacturters and importers to report
information, such as chemical identification, quantity produced or
imported, chemical processes, employee exposure, environmental
releases and use, that will help EPA ealuate the potential for
adverse human health and environmental effects caused by the
manufacture or importa- tion of identified chemical substances,
mixtures or categores. This information enables EPA to monitor the
production, importa- tion and use of theidentifed chemical
substances or mixture, and to identify, assess or manage the human
health and ..............
