The purpose of this study is to
conduct a multifaceted evaluation of the Ferguson Fellowship
Program. The information gathered will be used for program
implementation, planning, and decision making. The study aims to
evaluate and measure the success of the success of the program in
increasing the presence of racial and ethnic minorities in public
health and infectious diseases careers. The information obtained
from this project will help CDC and NCID staff, other federal
agencies, and otherstake- holders to improve the Ferguson
Fellowship process, benefiting future Fellows, mentors, and persons
in peripheral roles.
