Terms of Clearance: NCHS is granted permission to use the MLTRAC variable which asks respondents who report more than one race to select the race they most identify with. NCHS should provide to OMB via an email transmission the frequencies that show the various race combinations reported in variable RACE by the response reported for MLTRAC. This can be reported to OMB within three months of data dissemination to the public.
