Abstract: Exotic Newcastle disease and Chlamydiosis are worldwide diseases of birds and poultry that are foreign to the US and the most severe threat to the US poultry industry. 9 CFR 82 provides for the conditions under which these diseases are quarantined and how uninfected birds or poultry in quarantine can be moved interstate.
