This project seeks to solicit
information from African-American women about their knowledge,
attitudes, and beliefs about breast cancer screening and their
local screening provider. We will also examine participants'
source, message, and channel preferences for gathering information
about health information and services. Respondents will be aged
40-64 years, residents of Georgia, and eligible for participation
in the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program
(NBCCEDP). Information will be used to inform development of media
campaigns designed to increase awareness of NBCCEDP
services...
