VA will report
to OMB on the feasibility of allowing electronic submission of
forms approved under this package in the Agency's next request for
clearance. In the event that VA is prepared to allow electronic
submission of forms under this collection prior to the expiration
of the requested period of clearance, VA should submit a change of
collection request form to OMB reflecting the decrease in burden on
respondents. VA should reevaluate the necessity of requiring an
exemption to display the expiration date given that the forms will
be available online and the requirement to maintain a large
existing stock of paper based forms is expected to diminish.
