is approved with the following terms of clearance Education and
their contractors shall conduct statistical power analysis to
ensure that planned statistical comparisons for the participant
survey have adequate power to detect meaningful differences between
major analytic groups as well as subgroups. ED shall note any
limitations in the statistical power of their analyses in their
report on the survey results.

The purpose of the Transition to
Teaching (TTT) Grant Program evaluation is to assess how well the
94 grantees funded in 2002 have met the goals of the program: to
recruit participants from three eligible groups; to retain TTT
participants in teaching for 3 years; and to facilitate full
certification of participants. This request is to gather program
level data from the project directors and to conduct a survey from
a sample of TTT participants in 2004.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
